The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) process invites adults into a transformative journey of faith, culminating in full initiation into the Catholic Church. Whether you’re new to Christianity or seeking a deeper connection with God, OCIA welcomes you. Throughout this process, you’ll explore the richness of Catholic teachings, engage in prayer and reflection, and discern your faith journey. We encourage you to take this step with an open heart, knowing that the Church community eagerly awaits your presence.

As an adult participant, you’ll find a warm and supportive environment in OCIA. Adequate time for instruction and discernment is essential before Baptism. The culmination of this journey occurs during the Easter Vigil Mass, where adults are baptised, confirmed, and receive their first Holy Communion. This is not a journey you make on your own. Parish members, catechists and fellow seekers are here to walk with you and welcome you into the family of faith.

This online component is to help you on your journey, to provide resources and to be a place of discussion as you go through the process. It is a supplement to the weekly sessions where we come together in person to learn, share and connect.
